Packaged heating and air conditioning system
The packaged HVAC unit comprises all system parts in one metal cabinet. The evaporator coil, condenser, and compressor are all housed together to save space from being used inside. The cabinet is placed mainly on a building’s ceiling or a cement slab outside the home. The outdoor cabinet is connected to all the other rooms through ductwork. Some packaged central air systems include a natural gas furnace or electric heating coils. It is a suitable option for space deficient houses due to its compact size.
